Content Policy

Last updated:

Effective Date: May 20, 2026

Babesky is a creator directory and toolset for adult creators who post on the AT Protocol (Bluesky). Babesky does not host posts, does not operate an App View, and does not run a Personal Data Server (PDS), relay, or labeler. This policy explains what Babesky moderates on the surfaces it does control, what falls outside Babesky’s reach, and how reports and appeals work.

1. What this Policy Covers

This policy applies to:

  • Babesky-controlled surfaces: content rendered on babesky.com, club.babesky.com, feeds.babesky.com, and starterpacks.babesky.com — including the Featured Creators block, Club directory, Feeds directory, Starter Packs directory, and any creator profile copy submitted to or displayed by Babesky.
  • The Babesky Creator App (babesky.app): creator onboarding, login, profile management, and any creator-facing endpoints we operate.
  • Babesky’s curation and selection decisions: which creators, feeds, and packs we choose to display, feature, or promote.

This policy does not govern:

  • Posts on the Bluesky network. Those are hosted on each user’s PDS and moderated by Bluesky and the labelers a user has subscribed to. To report a Bluesky post, use Bluesky’s in-app report flow.
  • Account-level conduct on bsky.app or any other AT Protocol client.
  • Direct messages on Bluesky.

When Babesky displays a Bluesky post via embed, the post itself is still hosted by Bluesky. Babesky controls whether to display it; Bluesky controls the post itself.

2. Age Requirement

All Babesky creators, and all individuals depicted in content surfaced through Babesky, must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Creators must verify their age during onboarding to the Babesky Creator App.
  • All individuals depicted in adult or sexually explicit content must have been 18+ at the time the content was created.
  • Creators must retain 18 U.S.C. § 2257 records (where applicable to their jurisdiction) for all individuals depicted and make them available upon lawful request.
  • Content depicting, implying, or suggesting minors in a sexual context is subject to zero tolerance: immediate removal from all Babesky surfaces, permanent ban from Babesky, a report to NCMEC, a report to law enforcement, and a referral to Bluesky’s Trust & Safety team.

3. Permitted Content

On Babesky-controlled surfaces, we permit:

  • Adult and sexually explicit content created and shared by consenting adults.
  • Nudity, suggestive content, and mature creative work.
  • Content promoting subscription, pay-per-view, or other monetization gates hosted by the creator.
  • Artistic, educational, and documentary content on mature themes.
  • Content expressing political, social, or cultural opinions, even if controversial.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following will result in removal from all Babesky surfaces, denial or revocation of directory inclusion, and where required by law, reports to authorities.

4a. Absolute Prohibitions (Zero Tolerance)

  • Sexual content involving minors (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes individuals under 18.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (“revenge porn”) — sharing intimate content of a person without their consent.
  • Content that facilitates, promotes, or glorifies human trafficking or sexual exploitation.
  • Doxxing — posting private identifying information about a person without their consent.

4b. Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse of any user.
  • Impersonation of other creators, public figures, or Babesky staff on Babesky’s surfaces or via the Babesky Creator App.
  • Spam, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or artificial engagement manipulation directed at Babesky.
  • Content or profiles designed to defraud users (e.g., fake subscription tiers, misleading previews, payment scams).
  • Malware, phishing links, or content designed to compromise user security.
  • Promotion of violent extremism or terrorism.

4c. Intellectual Property

  • Content that infringes third-party copyright or trademark rights.
  • Re-posting another creator’s paywalled content without authorization.

DMCA takedown notices should be sent to the address in Section 12 with “DMCA Takedown Notice” in the subject line.

5. Consent and Documentation

For all content involving other individuals that you surface through Babesky:

  • You must have documented consent from all individuals depicted.
  • For sexually explicit content, you must retain 2257-compliant records (where applicable) and make them available upon lawful request.
  • Withdrawal of consent after content is published does not automatically obligate Babesky to remove the underlying post from Bluesky — that is between you and Bluesky — but Babesky will remove the content from any Babesky directory or surface upon credible request.

6. Content Labeling and AT Protocol

Babesky operates on the AT Protocol. Creators are responsible for labeling their Bluesky content accurately using AT Protocol labels:

  • Explicit/adult content must carry an appropriate label so it is gated from non-consenting viewers.
  • Graphic violence must be labeled.

Babesky honors Bluesky’s official moderation labeler when rendering embeds and may, in the future, operate its own labeler. If we launch a Babesky labeler, this section will be updated to describe its scope.

When you post on Bluesky, your public content may be replicated across the AT Protocol network. Babesky cannot remove content from third-party AT Protocol nodes, relays, or App Views.

7. Babesky’s Curation Decisions

Inclusion in Babesky’s directories, Featured Creators block, club listings, feeds, and starter packs is at Babesky’s discretion. Babesky may decline to list, or remove from listing, any creator, feed, or pack for any reason consistent with this policy.

Removal from Babesky is independent of any action by Bluesky. A creator may remain in good standing on Bluesky while being removed from Babesky’s directories, and vice versa. Bluesky moderation decisions are not appealable to Babesky; Babesky directory decisions are not appealable to Bluesky.

8. Reporting and Enforcement

How to Report

  • For content on Babesky’s surfaces (directories, featured lists, on-site copy): email [email protected] with a link to the content and a description of the issue.
  • For posts on the Bluesky network: use Bluesky’s in-app report flow. Babesky cannot action posts hosted on a PDS we do not operate, but if you also want the relevant creator removed from Babesky’s directories, copy us.
  • CSAM: report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline and to [email protected]. We do not wait for a report to act on CSAM we discover on our surfaces.

What Happens After a Report

  1. Babesky’s moderation team reviews reports affecting Babesky surfaces, typically within 5 business days.
  2. We may remove content from Babesky surfaces, remove a creator from directories, suspend or terminate access to the Babesky Creator App, or refer the matter to Bluesky and/or law enforcement.
  3. Where the report concerns content hosted on Bluesky, we will tell you and direct you to Bluesky’s reporting flow.
  4. We will acknowledge receipt of reports where contact information is provided.

Appeals

If a Babesky moderation action was taken against you and you believe it was in error, email [email protected] with the subject line “Content Appeal.” We will review and respond within 10 business days. Appeals are limited to actions Babesky took on Babesky’s surfaces; we cannot appeal Bluesky’s decisions on your behalf.

9. Creator Responsibility

Creators are solely responsible for the content they create and post to Bluesky. Babesky’s role is limited to directory curation, creator tooling, and the surfaces described in Section 1. You agree that:

  • You will not post content, or use Babesky’s tooling, in ways that violate this policy.
  • You are legally responsible for the content you create and post, including age verification, consent documentation, and 2257 record-keeping where applicable.
  • Babesky’s decisions about directory inclusion, removal, or labeling do not create legal liability for Babesky regarding content hosted elsewhere on the AT Protocol network.

10. Future App View

Babesky may, in the future, operate an App View, labeler, or other moderation infrastructure on the AT Protocol. When that happens, this policy will be revised to describe how moderation works on those surfaces, and material changes will be communicated under Section 11.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform and the legal landscape evolve. We will notify creators of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
